Appointment Policy


To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. We appreciate your understanding that emergencies will receive priority and may cause an appointment delay. Please realize we make a sincere attempt to see each appointment on time. 

 

Appointment Deposit Policy (Effective April 1, 2026)


We value your time and your pet's care, and we reserve dedicated appointment slots for every patient. Missed or last-minute cancellations make it difficult for us to offer that time to another pet in need. This policy allows us to serve our community more effectively while maintaining the level of care you expect from us.

Beginning April 1st, all appointments will require a deposit at the time of scheduling.

This deposit will be applied toward the cost of your pet's visit.

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  

  • Cancellations made with 24+ hours' notice: Deposit will be refunded or applied to a future visit
     
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice or missed appointments: Deposit will be forfeited

     


 

Leashes & Carriers


We do ask that you bring your pet in to the clinic on a leash or in a carrier to avoid an animal escaping and/or confrontation with other animals in the office. Our practice is next to a heavily traveled road and we want to ensure we do everything we can to protect our clients and their pets. If you feel that your pet doesn't get along well with other animals, please feel free to check in via phone when you arrive and one of our technicians will come get you when your exam room is ready. Even though we make every effort to make our patients comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to please have your pet on a leash or in a carrier. This is for your protection, that of others, and for the comfort of your pet.
